Winemaker’s impressions
The color is garnet red. The aroma combines roses, jam, plum jam. In the more mature vintages, notes of anise, licorice, mushrooms and dried figs appear with subtle hints of tobacco and leather.
The taste is complex and intricate with spicy and balsamic tones, sweet tannins, tobacco and wood.
