Winemaker’s impressions

There’s an open generous nose, filled with notes of blood orange, dark tomato, spice and warm fruits. Deep and pure, nice tannins build alongside gentle oak. This is such a good wine, so supple and well balanced - very Monforte. Great acidity, lovely energy and an obvious star of the cellar.
